Tree Removal

From the moment a tree is assessed for the first time—until the last log hits the ground—we are planning and adapting to find the safest and most efficient way to remove a tree. It's a combination of years worth of training and exposure to various job site conditions, and an ever-growing assortment of tools, equipment, and knowledge that puts us at the top. No matter the tree, location, size, or targets lingering below, we are well equipped with the highly technical skills required for a job well done.

Before removing a healthy tree we HIGHLY encourage you to consider your options. The benefits of trees are vast and there is evidence of their impacts in unimaginable places. A link to these benefits and some cool facts can be found by clicking here. It’s also always encouraged to plant a tree when one is removed.

  • Risk: Preservation is usually the ideal route when it comes to trees. Sometimes, however, a tree has run its course, and the risk of leaving it standing outweighs the reward. A tree’s risk is determined by a combination of categorical hazards or defects in a tree, the tree’s location, and targets in the range of impact should a part or parts of the tree fail.

  • Site changes: New construction or re-delegation of space is when a vacant property becomes a sports field or a tree-dense property is planning to be used for solar panel installation.

  • Declining health or death: Sometimes a tree goes into a state of decline due to a pathogen-related infection, infestation, or damage from insects, drought, and root problems. Sometimes the money involved to try and fix a tree in one of these shapes isn’t worth it, especially if our outcome is going to be disfigured. As far as death, if a tree is dead, removal is our only option.

  • Undesirable species or figure: Oftentimes we find ourselves removing trees for clients which were not intentionally picked or placed. For example, a customer no longer wants the headache and mess of a volunteer Siberian Elm, planted by wind or a bird dropping. It might have grown up with multiple messy stems emerging, stretching a canopy over the deck. Or, maybe the tree was at one point topped and as a result, is constantly losing branches (both large and small). It can be expensive to keep up with problem trees like this, so we often remove them with the hope they are replanted in a better location.

Reasons for Removal

Our Approach

Anyone with a chainsaw and way into the canopy of a tree can take a shot at removal. Even in a field, away from structures and people, such tasks do not come without high risk. A simple YouTube search of “tree removal fails” should be enough to steer anyone away from doing it themselves and instead, hiring a licensed, bonded, and insured professional. This eliminates your risk of personal injury as well as any liability—should accidents occur—and damage to your property result. Our knowledge, passion, and expertise, combined with our equipment, are unparalleled. Our skills range from a variety of backgrounds including cities, residential, and utility-based tree work. Safety is our highest priority, for ourselves, for our customers, and for their property. If our aerial equipment cannot access it, we have ropes and saddles to climb it. If our chipper won't chip it, we have loaders to load it. Aside from expertise and equipment, we maintain our licensing and pay our insurance while keeping our bond active. Our team has yet to cross paths with a tree beyond our ability to safely remove. We smile at the challenge of removing monsters from the spaces in between your house and garage, knowing we were made for this.

“Anthony and his crew are the best! He is very knowledgeable and knows exactly what he’s doing. They came out to our property and cut down a (dead) tree that was hanging over our greenhouse…I was worried about the tree hitting my greenhouse. Anthony did the most amazing job and protected my greenhouse while removing the tree. This guy is the best in town and we’ll never use anybody else for our tree removal. He’s also very personable and such a nice guy. Highly recommend him and his crew.”
